Sennowe Park

Sennowe Park from Softley Events

Sennowe Park is a hidden paradise in the heart of rural Norfolk

Set in tranquil sweeping parkland, Sennowe Park is undoubtedly one of Norfolk’s most romantic venues. The large Edwardian country house was built for the grandson of Thomas Cook, the inventor of modern holiday travel, and his descendants still live in the house today. The grounds are home to a lake with an adjacent boathouse, with an abundance of room for helicopters to land, whilst the house itself boasts colonnades, beautifully designed rooms, and the exquisite Winter Garden with its marble-columned fountain. This 70ft, flower-filled conservatory is both elegant and bursting with life, making it the perfect location for a civil ceremony, a drinks reception, or one-of-a-kind dinners.

Sennowe Park is not open to the public, meaning that it is a gorgeously private wedding venue or location for your next event. The exclusive-use of the house and grounds allow couples and guests to stay in the house or boathouse in undisturbed comfort. Each room provides spectacular views across the acres of mature gardens, tiered lawns, terraces, and parkland - the perfect setting for a blissful Norfolk wedding or party, whether you opt for an intimate celebration in the Winter Garden, or a much larger affair making use of an elegant marquee on one of the lawns.
