2018 summary from Softley Events

2018 summary from Softley Events

What a year 2018 has been for us here at Softley Events!

Not only has it been our busiest year to date, but we've also been very busy building our new website which we are pleased to have launched.

We have been privileged to look after many couples on their important day this year and worked with some fabulous suppliers old and new and in some stunning locations, it has been a very exciting year.

In addition to weddings, we have been busy turning Norwich Pink and Blue and organising our Think Pink & Blue Gala Dinner in support of local Ovarian and Prostate Cancer research projects. 2018 saw another successful annual dinner for the Norfolk and Norwich Law Society helping them celebrate 175 years and the Norfolk Show Ball in aid of Big C. As well as hosting many corporate events we were delighted to be asked to host the VIP Hospitality at Lionel Richie's concert at Holkham Hall on what turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. We really were 'dancing on the ceiling'.

We are now busy finalising the last events of the year including a wonderful Winter wedding and of course Christmas parties and lunches.

Next year is looking just as exciting! We are working on final designs for the 2019 Norfolk Show Ball in aid of EACH with a Rio Carnival theme and we do hope that you will be able to join us to support this wonderful charity.

With work on a themed staff award night for 450 guests well under way, corporate dinners, garden parties, weddings, new venues and some exciting new ventures 2019 is shaping up to be a year packed full of excitement. We will share more details with you in the New Year and don't forget it is never too early to start planning your event so do give us a call.

On behalf of Emma and myself, we would like to wish you a very Happy Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

Very best wishes

Sarah and the Softley Events team
