Norfolk based Softley Events are delighted to announce that they have been appointed to manage two of the region’s largest events in 2014.
Following an exciting year which saw them organise the launch events and corporate hospitality for the internationally acclaimed Houghton Revisited exhibition Softley Events have recently been appointed to manage the 2014 Norfolk Show Ball for Norfolk Veterans, a new organisation headed by General the Lord Dannatt.
The evening promises to be a spectacle of military pageantry including a Beating Retreat and so will be a very special night for all who attend. With a third of the tickets already reserved it promises to be a sell out.
Softley Events will also be managing the Wymondham Rugby Club Annual Dinner for the sixth year. The event which has become one of the largest sporting dinners in the Eastern region, with over 650 corporate guests attending, will see 3 times British and Lions coach Sir Ian McGeechan OBE and rugby commentator Ian Robertson speak at the dinner on 7th May 2014.
Director, Sarah Softley said:
‘we were hugely honoured to play a part in the Houghton Revisited exhibition and are very proud to be managing these two important events in Norfolk’s calendar. Veterans Norfolk is an inspiring organisation which will help so many deserving men and women from the forces.
We are also delighted to once again be helping Wymondham Rugby Club. The dinner has grown beyond all expectations since we took it on 6 years ago and we are very pleased to have secured such a well respected figure from the world of rugby.’
In addition to these 2 major events Softley Events are working on some exciting new projects with another charity for 2014 and continue to arrange private parties, weddings and corporate events and hospitality throughout East Anglia and beyond as well as managing a number of stunning venues.
